Safety of the Footpath

After a recent assault and attempted mugging on the footpath that follows Ferry Road, we urge everyone to be aware of these events, they are not regular but can happen. Please take safe precautions when on the pathway yourself as this could happen again. If you feel unsafe at all going onto the pathway, don't go; it's better to take the longer route.
